now it's just another day without the sand beneath our feet.
new year's this year wasn't too bad. the party was a good time and all, but it was some choice netflix viewings that really did it for me...
... but jeeeeebus freaking H. christ, how in the hell did I let myself miss napoleon dynamite in the theatres? not that it was a film that needed to be seen in a theatre, but I am ashamed it took me this long to see it. and you know what's funny, is that I'm finding there are 3 categories for people who have seen it: 1. the people who LOVED it, 2. the people who HATED it, and 3. people who tries to be cool about not liking it. listen here: it's a character-driven film with the plot coming in at a close second. but none of that really matters when the character and the lines are automatically likeable and quoteable. it's not a mystery why my computer yells "tina, come get some HAM!" when I get new email. do you love it? loves it. (that's something else.)
